Social Media Show-and-Tell
Earlier this month, I presented a short show-and-tell session about new sites and trends in Social Media at the chapter meeting for the Atlanta Society for Technical Communication. I posted about this before, and was very excited about bringing these sites to light within our chapter of the STC. After the presentation, I promised to provide a list of links for those in attendance to be able to reference later. Well, this post is it!
These are only sites that I have personally visited and tried out (if even briefly.) If you know of other sites, please comment the links and I will add them as I check them out.

Hi (I’m your Twitter follower @johan),
popped by as I noticed that you where to set up an art blog for your daughter. Just had a chat with my son on a similiar thing.
Anyway, to add to this list.
friendfeed.com - similiar to Plaxo Pulse
orkut.com - Googles social network
geni.com and kindo.com - social networks with a genealogy touch.
There’s a bunch of more of course, but those are good ones to look into. I’m on all of those, “find and connect” if you like..
Regards
/Johan
I’ve meant to go to an STC meeting for years! I really wish I’d been there for your presentation.
