Back in the Stall
Today is my second day back at work. On one hand, it is good to be back in my daily routine where I am comfortable (and my hands don’t smell like baby wipes.) On the other, I sure do miss spending all day with the kids, even when they act like deranged meerkats. I miss helping my wife around the house…no really, and I know you are reading this, Jenny…even though I did more in helping with the kids than helping her.
I seriously have to hand it to her. I couldn’t do what she does every day. I was exhausted from all of the running-around I had to do, taking this kid here and picking up this one from there. She doesn’t get paid nearly enough. I should have a word with her boss.
Now, here I am at the office. I don’t have trouble staying busy, but I do find my mind wandering here and there, wondering what the kids are doing and worrying that my wife is lying to me about feeling fine, just to get me out of the house. I know I got into her hair, since I am much more of a mother-hen than she is.
I started this yesterday and finishing it up today. I don’t know where I got the silly idea from, but here it is. It is a diversion (not cool enough to be called a game) called “Finding Crap in Robert’s Stall.” See, I don’t have an office or a cube, I have a stall.
Look at this picture You might have to click on it for the full size to see enough detail:
It is a badly Photoshopped panoramic of the functional corner of the stall. The rest is a whiteboard.
Look closely. See if you can find:
- Darth Vader’s Head
- 2 Jack Skellingtons
- Aragorn
- The ‘Ol’ Ball Coach’
- Cocky
- A rugby ball
- 3 Halo-themed things.
- A dead fish
Bonus Question: Who is the Bear at the top corner of the cube?
Filed under: Do the Job, Just me

You don’t really have a larger version than this - but with PSP I see Fozzie Bear up there in the corner - and I *think* he’s got groucho glasses on!
Oh, and yeah, if I had any inkling of how much harder being a stay-at-home Mom was than being in the office? I might’ve never been brave enough to have a child!!
Bear from Bear in the Big Blue House. I’d recognize that blue nose anywhere.
But yeah, it’s a small pic even at the largest size. I had to use my SuperMom Sight Enhancing powers (it came packaged with my eyes-on-the-back-of-my-head powers).
or mebbe it is Fozzie (?)
Do I get a guess at the bear????
